Development and validation of postmenopausal attitude scale

Background: Menopause is not only a biological event but also psychosocial. Attitudes, perceptions, and expectations are some of the psychosocial phenomena surrounding menopause. Many women perceive it as welcome relief from menses risk pregnancy while those who desire children consider an unwelcome event. Both in midlife health professionals agree that attitudes toward menopause play potential role experience menopause, including its perceived severity. However, there currently no comprehensive tool to assess menopausal women's attitudes. Methodology: The aim this study develop post-menopausal attitude scale. To authors followed various steps like review literature, obtaining content validity establishing ratio, factor analysis estimating reliability tool. Results: ratio 1 estimated by Cronbach alpha was found be 0.765. version scale five point Likert with 25 items. There were 10 items under heading Attitude towards Physical Factor, 5 psychological Sexual Factors, Management Menopause.Conclusion: Proper validation essential, crucial process new construction prepared will comprehensively measure all domains related
